Tamandua Project Design services include mechanical design, dynamics analysis, brake system design, instrumentation, and control system design. The control system design included the logic development, programming (Modicon Quantum), on-site commissioning, and performance testing. The control system included a supervisory system (FactoryLink) provided by others. The project is a 3.5 Km route at 6100 TPH for the transportation of iron ore consisting of two downhill and three plant conveyors. It also includes one silo/feeder system, a shuttle conveyor (with moveable head) and interfacing to the stacker/reclaimer systems.
